New on ScienceDirect

Additional Article Information
ScienceDirect has enhanced the visibility and accessibility of multimedia content by placing any additional multimedia content that belongs to the article at the top of the page. This will ensure that you do not miss out on relevant content.

New design for publication homepage
ScienceDirect's publication homepage now offers the table of contents, links to a sample issue, more info about the publication, publication history, cover details and how to submit an article.

RSS Improvements
RSS feeds deliver information about new content to researchers through an RSS reader and also via websites that use RSS as a source of dynamic content. Now with new "HTML feeds" service you can integrate dynamic SD content into their own web pages.

ScienceDirect helps to increase researchers' productivity by extending the export format options and by returning more export fields. A new export file format called BibTex has been added to ScienceDirect. BibTex allows users to export lists of references to the BibTex programme.

Full text XML support for Books on ScienceDirect
It is now possible to view a selected book title in XML or PDF format on ScienceDirect. This will make it possible to view visual or audio components that can be embedded in the books. It will enable you to seamlessly link to related content on ScienceDirect from active hyperlinks within the book chapter.

Changed entitlement icon
Currently on ScienceDirect, subscribed researcher may see a green icon at the title level to indicate entitled access to that journal title but it does not indicate the exact volumes of that title they have access to but now if a user clicks on a green key icon they will see all of the entitlement information for that title.
